Amazing Australia

SYDNEY: I visited Australian in May and June 2019. This was my second visit to Australia. I had visited Sydney in 2010 and had an opportunity to see Sydney very closely and visited Blue Mountains, one of the natures’ paradise.

This time we explored the dessert of Australia and went to the place called ‘ULURU’ also popularly known as Ayers Rock.

Sydney itself is one of the most beautiful cities of the world. But going to Uluru was an experience in itself. Uluru is a massive sand stone monolith in the heart of ‘Northern Territory’ and ‘Red Center’. This has a history of nearly 550 million years better known from the last 5000 years.

It is about 3000 kilometers from Sydney and flight takes about 3 hours to reach. The beautiful hotels and small airport in the dessert and rest is nature.

The famous events of Uluru are

  • Sound of silence
  • Field of lights

The rock is orange at sun rise and turns purple at the time of sun set. It is difficult to express the beauty in words. One has to see and feel the experience.
